The 2027 race is on Sunday 14 March. The organiser has not put 2027 entries on sale. It asks you to pre-register on its mailing list to hear first. The 2026 race sold out in record time.

The organiser has not published the 2027 race information. The times, places and cut-offs below are from the 2026 race on Sunday 8 March, and the page marks each one that way.

Getting to Cambridge 2026 details

The 2026 event village was on Midsummer Common, with no parking there. The organiser listed walking and cycling first, with a free secure bike park open from 8:00 to 15:00.

City centre car parks were first come, first served. Park & Ride sites at Babraham Road, Madingley Road, Milton, Newmarket Road, St Ives and Longstanton, and Trumpington ran buses to the village from 7:00. The last bus before the start was at 8:30 from most sites and 8:00 from St Ives and Longstanton. Return buses ran from 11:00 to 15:00. Tickets cost 8 pounds if bought ahead, and 12 pounds for an adult on the day.

The organiser has not published the 2027 transport plan. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.

Where to stay in Cambridge

The organiser's 2026 plan puts the village on Midsummer Common, close to the centre, and asks local runners to walk. A room within walking distance of Midsummer Common saves the Park & Ride trip. If you stay further out, the 2026 buses ran from 7:00.

Collecting your number 2026 details

The 2026 race pack was collected at Midsummer Common on Friday 6 March from 12:00 to 18:00 and on Saturday 7 March from 10:00 to 16:00. It was not possible to collect on the Sunday. Take photo ID, which can be on your phone.

Runners with overseas or non-mainland UK addresses were not posted a pack and had to collect. The Sunday enquiries tent dealt with packs that had not arrived.

Someone else could collect if you emailed the organiser first with their name. They needed their own photo ID and the organiser's confirmation email. The organiser has not published the 2027 collection place or hours. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.

Race morning 2026 details

The 2026 waves began at 9:30 and your bib colour set your wave, based on the finish time you predicted. There were four start gates. The organiser asked runners to be on site at least 45 minutes before their start gate time. You could move to a later wave but not an earlier one.

Bag storage opened at 8:00. You attached the tag from your pack and showed your number to collect the bag. The enquiries area opened at 7:00.

The 2026 time limit was 3 hours 30 minutes from your start, and the whole event closed at 13:45. Two cut-offs applied, at 13:00 at 15.3 km on Trumpington Road and 13:30 at 18.5 km at the Silver Street junction. Runners who missed them were taken back in a minibus. The organiser has not published the 2027 time limit. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.
