Getting to Stockholm

Arlanda Express connects the airport with Stockholm Central in 18 minutes, with departures every 12 to 15 minutes. Your ticket is valid for any departure. Allow separately for the walk to the platform and the trip from Stockholm Central to your room.

Collecting your number 2027 details

The organiser's page says the Marathon Expo is in the same place as number collection and is open from Thursday to Saturday. It does not give the place or the daily hours. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.

Race morning 2027 details

The time limit is 6 hours 30 minutes. The organiser says there are four checkpoints with cut-off times, so a runner must pass each by a set time whatever time they started. The organiser has not published those times. The organiser has not published this yet. We'll add it here when they do.

Pacers run at 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00, 5:15, 5:30 and 5:45. The organiser has medical service at the start, at the finish and along the course, and help for runners who drop out.

The course 2026 details

The 2026 race started on Lidingövägen near the Östermalm sports grounds and finished inside Stockholm Stadium. The organiser's 2026 course page says the route builds on the classic one, with a new rhythm and slightly flatter. It circles Gamla Stan on both passes and cuts through SoFo on Södermalm. The main climbs are Katarinavägen, Hornsgatan and Lundagatan, and Västerbron.

Entering 2027 details

The organiser lists four price bands, 1,295, 1,495, 1,795 and 1,995 SEK, with the lower prices for earlier registration. Check which band applies when you enter.

Your registration is binding and personal, and the organiser does not refund the fee if you do not take part.

Weather in Stockholm in May and June

The race has been run on a Saturday between 30 May and 4 June in the last five editions. The start is provisional at 12:00, so these are the last five completed race days at Lidingövägen beside Stockholm Stadium, at 12:00 and at 13:00. They are model estimates for the start area, not readings from a weather station.

The 2024 race was the warmest, at 23.2 °C at noon.

Afterwards 2027 details

Finishers receive a shirt and medal. The organiser lists refreshments, hot showers and massage, with massage at Östermalms IP. Results include split times, and you can download a personal diploma.
