Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich 2027
October 2027, date to be announced · Valencia, Spain
The Valencia Half Marathon starts and finishes on Avinguda dels Tarongers, beside the university campuses. It had 25,000 bibs in 2026, and the organiser says seven of the ten fastest men's times and the five fastest women's times in history were run on it.
The organiser has not announced the 2027 date. The next race is Sunday 25 October 2026, and it is sold out. Everything below is from the 2026 regulations and pages, and is labelled as such.
The women's record on the organiser's page is 1:02:52 from 2021, and the men's 57:30 from 2024 is marked as no longer valid.

Getting to Valencia
Valencia's airport is on lines 3 and 5 of the metro, and the tourist board says both reach the city centre in about 20 minutes. It recommends Xàtiva and Alameda stations for the centre.
Avinguda dels Tarongers is 4.7 km from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, a 63-minute walk, and 3.6 km from the City of Arts and Sciences. The organiser's pages do not give the race-morning transport for the half marathon, so look for Metrovalencia's notice in the last week before.
Where to stay in Valencia
The start and finish are in the same place, so the table measures from the Avinguda dels Tarongers.
| Area | To the start |
|---|---|
| Malvarrosa beach | 16 minutes on foot, 1.2 km |
| The Polytechnic University campus | 16 minutes on foot, 1.2 km |
| City of Arts and Sciences | 48 minutes on foot, 3.6 km |
| Plaza del Ayuntamiento | 63 minutes on foot, 4.7 km |
| Estación del Norte | 67 minutes on foot, 5 km |
Anywhere in the centre is a ride to the start. The expo is at Feria Valencia, about 10 km from the start on foot, and is a separate trip on the Friday or Saturday.
Collecting your number 2026 details
Bibs were handed out only at Expo 21K in Feria Valencia on 23 and 24 October 2026, from 9:00 to 21:00 on both days, and nothing is given out on race day. The regulations give the entry price as €40 for the first 10,000 bibs and €80 for the rest and for the waiting list, with a €3 day licence for runners who do not hold a Spanish or regional licence.
Race morning 2026 details
The start is in seven waves by the best time you gave. Wave times in 2026 were as follows.
| Your time | Wave starts |
|---|---|
| Under 1:20 | 8:25 |
| 1:20 to 1:26 | 8:30 |
| 1:26 to 1:34 | 8:35 |
| 1:34 to 1:43 | 8:48 |
| 1:43 to 1:50 | 9:01 |
| 1:50 to 1:55 | 9:14 |
| Over 1:55 | 9:27 |
The event finishes by 12:20, and the maximum time is 2 hours 45 minutes. A runner who reaches 10 km after 11:00 must leave the course because they would exceed the limit. The organiser's page does not describe bag storage, so check the regulations before the race.
The course
The organiser calls the 21K circuit the ideal one for a very fast time, with a certified distance of 21,097.5 m. A downloadable map, a Google map with aid stations, toilets and cheering areas, and Strava route data are on its course page. It gives no landmark-by-landmark route and no figure for climb.
Refreshment stations are at 5, 10, 15 and 19 km, and there is one at the finish. The series page says the organisers keep refining the route to remove tighter bends.
